Vince Zampella, Dies in an LA Car Crash
Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in the state of California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.
The renowned video game developer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and we stand with Vince's family, his family, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts said.
